A small yet established membership body are seeking a Head of Professional Standards to lead their team.
Main duties for the Head of Professional Standards:
Manage to the professional conduct function
Manage and promote alternative dispute resolution
Provide expert and best practice guidance on professional contact matters
Oversee relevant panels, committees and steering groups
Assisting and deputising for the director of department
Developing professional standards related outputs
Essential criteria for the Head of Professional Standards:
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Demonstrable experience of managing complaints or legal processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Business planning and budget management experience
Effective leadership skills
