TPP’s client is an award-winning charity providing services for people with a range of learning disabilities and their families. They are looking for a new Head of Early Help Transformation to join their ambitious team in West London.
Reporting to the Director of Children, Youth & Family Services, you will lead on the strategic and operational management of CYF Services where you will be line managing diverse staff teams and sessional workers. You will be working closely with the Director CYF to help facilitate and embed transitional changes required to place the CYF Services in a position to meet the future challenges, with changing commissioning arrangements. You will lead on the development of an Early Help model in CYF which includes developing opportunities for new funding streams. Based in a leading Family Centre Hub that provides care to children up to 18 years of age with varying needs, you will engage in partnership work internally and externally which supports strategic objectives around transforming the Early Help offer. You will also deputise for the Director of Children, Youth & Family Services, as appropriate.
You will be a highly motivated self-starter and natural born leader with operational experience in effectively managing services, ideally with disabled children, young people. You will have excellent budget-management skills, with an understanding and knowledge of Disability, Community Care Policy, Children’s & Family act, and Ofsted CQC Regulations. You will also have the ability to gather and analyse audit evidence with practical experience of undertaking audits, analysing and formulating results and actions plans – including compiling and presenting tenders and bids for new and developing services. You will have achieved a relevant professional qualification in Early Years, Social Care, Play or Youth and/or a Management Qualification. You will also have significant senior management experience of working with Early Years, Early Intervention and Family Support.
As well as being able to work core hours you may be required to attend evening meetings and weekend events as required. You will also be able to participate in an out of hours on call rota.
