A global awarding body are recruiting for a new and exciting position, a Head of E-Assessment. Taking a strategic remit over the entirety of the examination sessions including materials, standardisation and grade awarding, you will also act as the organisation's spokesman to schools, at conferences and events and to other stakeholders both externally and internally.
As someone who has previously worked for an awarding body and has a full understanding of the assessment lifecycle you will lead on assessment creation to ensure it is fit for the curriculum and maintains Ofqual and other regulatory standards both within the UK and internationally.
This organisation is at the height of innovation and is leading the way in terms of online assessment. They have developed a new e-assessment process which allows students an interactive approach to examinations and are currently working to have all their assessments on screen only by 2021.
Working with partners across the organisation as well as externally an intricate part of this role will be to drive this transition forward ensuring schools and centres have support in implementing the right IT infrastructures as well as working with developers to ensure security and integrity of assessments.
Managing a large team across the globe, you will also work closely with the Head of Curriculum Development who is based in Holland to ensure material is assessable and fits assessment models. Therefore this role will require travel at least 3-4 times a year.
