Our client, one of the UK best known charities, is looking for a Head of Digital Communications to lead their brand new digital strategy. This role will involve managing the team and helping them to deliver vital and potentially lifesaving communication and engagement across various digital formats and channels including social media and the charities website.
This role will be at the very front line of the charity as it speaks to it's largest audience. It will be responsible for advancing communications and the charities profile within digital media, with the ultimate aim of raising awareness of the charity and the work they do. Reporting into the Communications Director, you will develop an innovative and versatile strategy that is well-integrated across the organisation and effectively supports the mission of the charity.
Successful applicants will have extensive experience of delivering digital communications in line with a large and well respected brands rules and guidelines, developing the brand and providing general marketing support. You will have experience of both delivering hard hitting campaigns and managing a dynamic team, helping to develop the skills and experience on it and adding capacity where required. It is not essential to have charitable experience for this role, but it will be considered a great asset.
