I am working with a well-established and highly ranked Community Foundation to recruit a talented Grants Officer to join their busy city centre team. You will work alongside local companies, individuals and organisations encouraging them to make financial contributions to local charities and community groups. You will also provide a grants making service, specialising in supporting small to medium sized organisations who are working in some of Leeds’ most disadvantaged communities.
If you have excellent Project Management Skills and want to use them to benefit those in need, this role is perfect for you. Do you enjoy reviewing and interpreting data and are highly efficient and have the ability to work to strict deadlines, all whilst developing strong relationships with local community groups than this role will offer you a very fulfilling challenge.
If you have the following experience and skills this role is perfect for you:
Advanced ability in MS Office Inc. Word and Excel
Good attention to detail
Ability to analyse data and produce reports.
Experience of data input, analysis and excellent numerical skills.
Are confident, approachable and have the ability to get on with a range of people and organisations
It would be desirable if you have previous experience working with charities, community groups and social enterprises, have also previously worked with grant making systems and are experienced in the assessment of grant applications. It would also be desirable if you have has experience of working in health, social care or community.
