Job Title: Grants Administrator

Salary: £10.00 - £12.00 PAYE

Area/Location: St. James' Park

Type: temporary until March strong possibility of extension

Start date: ASAP

The grant giving charity with whom we are working for is looking for someone to provide administrative support for their regular payments scheme.

Grants Administrator
*Reports to the Director of Operations
*First point of contact for beneficiary enquiries
*Processing incoming postal applications
*Handle telephone queries relating to regular payments
*Entering beneficiary data into the database and onto spreadsheets
*Flagging applications that do not meet the essential application criteria

Essential Criteria
*Data entry
*Excellent customer service skills
*Good numeracy skills
*Good written and verbal communication skills
*Experience of working in an administrative role
*Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Knowledge of welfare benefits system to be able to identify possible missing benefits
Experience of setting up a new administrative scheme from scratch and introducing relevant processes to support it
