A well-established health charity based in London are seeking a Governance Officer to assist the Resources Director.
Main duties for the Governance Officer:
Responsible for resolving administration queries in conjunction with pensions and payroll manager
Updating all key documents, policies, procedures, the annual meeting calendar and registers
Servicing committee meetings, preparing and distributing agendas for the board
Taking minutes and c coordinating logistics
Take the lead in representing the team when looking into compliments procedures and issue resolution
To research and collate information and take responsibility for preparing reports
Performance monitoring and working on ad hoc projects
Support with internal audits
To support the personal assistance to provide compressive and high level support
Essential criteria for the Governance Officer:
Previous experience as an executive assistant or within a company secretariat role
Experience of working closely with senior management
Experience of implementing service- monitoring systems
Ability to interact with others in a sensitive and diplomatic manner
Excellent organisational skills
Excellent communication skills
