This mental health charity is looking for a Fundraising Officer to help support their current supporters and new fundraisers every day.
Key responsibilities for the Fundraising Officer:
*Using Salesforce to support and develop the organisations supporters and fundraisers, welcome new supporters, support and thank fundraisers
*Provide fundraising and promotional briefings and materials for supporters in line with the charities brand and ethos
*Ensure supporters receive relevant and timely communications
*Import details of funders through Just Giving, Virgin Money and other fundraising portals
*Ensure all donors are acknowledged and thanked according to their giving and involvement
*Provide timely accurate reports on fundraising activities and income and support
*Encourage current and new donors to sign up to regular giving
*Work with volunteers to register supporters to sign up to fundraising events
*Take responsibility for own administration, maintain accurate and up-to-date records using the Salesforce database
Skills/Qualifications required for the HR Officer:
*Solid experience of using Salesforce and database management
*Knowledge of legal and regulatory issues associated with fundraising law and best practice, such as data protection and confidentiality, direct debit and Gift Aid
*Experience of using JustGiving to pull in new fundraisers, produce monthly reports etc.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Excellent relationship management skills
*Strong financial acumen, budget management and forecasting skills
*Strong self-management: ability to organise and priorities workload and work to tight deadlines
*Understanding of the principles of relationship fundraising
