TPP is recruiting for a Fundraising Events Officer for a national charity, on a 12 month fixed term contract (ideally starting October). This is a great opportunity to come into a maternity cover post and work on a range of events - challenge, special and volunteer-led. You will personally be responsible for the project management of 7-8 events including 2 large scale challenge events and a special fundraising dinner.
You will get the opportunity to work with regional colleagues on smaller events nation-wide, and will have the support of a Fundraising Events Manager when needed. You will engage with supporters for both challenge events and the contacts for the special events. You will get the opportunity to develop more events for future years.
We are looking for someone with experience of fundraising events - ideally challenge and special would be a bonus too - as well as great organisational skills, ability to persuade and motivate supporters, and experience/ability in marketing events.
