This well-known national charity is looking for a Fundraising Assistant to join their team within Peterborough to represent and support the charity the local community. The Fundraising Assistant will need to be able to develop and maintain both internal and external relationships including donors, supporters, volunteers and colleagues. The main purpose of this job is to support the overall the growth and aspirations of the charity on a local and national level.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the following experience;
*Relevant experience in a voluntary fundraising environment or transferable skills in sales and customer service.
*Clear understanding of working with others and volunteers.
*Strong and confident communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships both internally and externally. With an understanding of why this is key.
*Impeccable organisation and time management skills
*Ability to engage in a proactive team culture
A full driving licence and the use of a car are essential.
This role will sometimes require out of hours working.
