We're thrilled to be working with the UK's No.1 children's charity to source a Special Events Fundraiser. This permanent role in the Special Events department focuses on working with committees of high level volunteers to generate as much income as possible from a series of exciting, bespoke fundraising and engagement events.
Key responsibilities include:
*To build excellent relationships with supporters and potential supporters, working with them to manage and deliver a portfolio of profitable engagement and stewardship events]
*To work with the Fundraising Manager to proactively identify new fundraising opportunities, using informed judgement to develop a strategy to maximise income from these opportunities
*To correspond effectively and persuasively with your portfolio of supporters, using expert communication and influencing skills to further engage them with the charity
*To work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and teams to ensure that the potential of all fundraising activities
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
*Experience of success in managing fundraising, engagement and stewardship events
*Highly developed written and verbal communications skills, able to present complex information in a clear and concise manner in order to inspire a range of different audiences to engage with the charity's cause
*Excellent ability to build and manage long-term relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders
*Ability to analyse data, present findings and make recommendations on better future practice based on the results
