  • Working hours : 15 hours a week ( 2 working days per week)
  • Location : 1 Wimpole Street, London, W1G 0AE
  • Expenses: This is an unpaid volunteer role. Travel and lunch expenses, up to £10 per day, will be covered by THET. THET’s volunteers have access to THET’s canteen (£1.50 per meal).
  • Reporting : Head of Finance
  • Duration : 2 months


  • Understand the existing coding structure within QuickBooks
  • Support the Head of Finance to develop an effective coding structure for nominal ledger and class codes in order to reflect the needs of various groups such as overseas project management staff and the Finance dept.



  • Qualified Accountant
  • Able  to work both independently and in a small team environment
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel
  • Experience of developing financial systems                        


  • Experience of using QuickBooks accounting software
  • Experience of working in a charity finance dept.
