Since its foundation, Wac Arts has touched the lives of over thirty thousand young people.

This is a unique time to join the Wac Arts Board, in October we transitioned from being a founder led organisation to appointing a new Chief Executive. This new Chief Executive and the Senior Management team are moving forward the Board’s work of the last two years, to build a new, robust and sustainable business model which financially underpins the inspiring work with young people that has been consistently delivered for almost four decades.

To deliver the organisation’s potential, the Board is looking for an inspiring new Trustee with a real passion for the work we do, very strong and demonstrable experience of being an expert in the field of finance and or accounting.

General responsibilities

  • Probationary period: Prospective Trustees are invited to attend the Board as observers for the first 6 months before being formally elected to their post. This is to give both sides an opportunity to ensure a good fit for the organization, and ensure governance stability.
