A small, professional membership body based in prestigious offices in central London are seeking a talented Accountant / Finance Business Partner with strong experience in the implementation, development and integration of accounting and CRM systems. The role will initially be offered on a 1 year fixed term contract basis.
The role will involve:
-To support the implementation, development and integration of new accounting and CRM systems (PS Financials (PSF) and Microsoft Dynamics), acting as the project lead for the finance team
-Management of the Finance Officers and accounts Assistants
-To oversee the operation and quality of day to day and monthly financial processing
-To provide expert professional guidance and support and direction (as required) for the finance function in the transition to new systems and processes
-To develop and implement a business improvement programme to enhance productivity and efficiency, identifying potential efficiency gains and better value for money
-To improve the efficiency of finance systems through automation and streamlining of processes from manual to electronic supported by PSF and MS Dynamic
-To oversee utilisation of PSF accounting system across all aspects of the finance function: sales and purchase ledgers, management accounts, VAT, asset register, budget development and statutory accounts, cash flow etc.
-To assist the Financial Controller with all areas of accounting: HMRC returns, management accounts, ledgers, forecasting and management accounts
-Fully or part-qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA accounting qualification
-Project management qualification (desirable)
-Knowledge of charity SORP accounting, VAT, forecast & budgets, management accounts and year-end
-Previous experience of implementing and developing new accounting software
-Relevant experience of change management and understanding of the human and process/system factors
-Experience with PS Financials (desirable)
-Experience with integrating CRM systems and SQL programming (desirable)
-Experience managing a finance team
