One of world's largest awarding bodies are recruiting for an Exams and Assessments Systems Coordinator to ensure that every candidate receives the correct result on every occasion.
Covering three main areas; plagiarism prevention and detection; helpdesk support for examiners and internal colleagues in regards to assessment systems and providing information on assessment performance by generating results, statistical analysis and data outputting you will be instrumental in ensuring rigorous systems, security and controls are in place to enable standards and regulatory requirements to be met in the delivery of assessments.
As someone who has the ability to make sound and informed judgements through preliminary investigations and taking a considered look at student's work you will undertake checks of "turnitin" reports to see if there are any concerns which need to be raised.
You will have excellent attention for detail, even in high volume and pressurised situations and have pride and satisfaction in your work, feeling rewarded in ensuring the right decisions are made in order to maintain excellent customer service.
You will also be able to demonstrate an understanding of IT solutions and have an interest in helping to improve systems through taking part in adhoc projects to provide user testing and feedback on new platforms and developments as well as be able to advise others on how best to navigate assessment systems.
Having previously worked to defined processes, ideally in an assessment context or similar, this is a fantastic role for someone at the start of their career to help develop a solid basis in either assessment processes or IT systems.
Based in a supportive team with a manager who strives to develop individuals in their role this position will also be perfect for someone with transferable skills who wishes to enter the education sector.
