Our client is a leading professional body and they are recruiting an experienced Events Officer to lead on a range of member-related events.
These networking seminars, knowledge sharing and conferences.
You will have sole responsibility for the 360 event coordination, including venue hire, inviting delegates, catering, budgeting and post-event evaluations.
Over a single calendar year, you can expect to be involved in around 20 events, many of these will be small boutique networking meetings with the largest, being for up to 60 people.
There is a much larger Conference held once a year, (1,500 delegates) but you will work on this as part of a wider team.
You will also have an opportunity to represent the organisation at several exhibitions where you will network with members and other industry professionals.
It's key that candidates have extensive experience leading on the coordination of events, backed with an ability to multi-task and prioritise.
