A not-for-profit provider of innovative, high quality care and support services based in Aylesbury and covering Buckinghamshire, Milton Keynes, Bedfordshire, Berkshire, Barnet, Harrow and Hertfordshire are currently recruiting for an End of Life Practice Development Lead on a full term and permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will have experience in End of Life Care and be looking to design and facilitate training and development opportunities for people working across the organisation's services to improve the end of life care.

The key purpose of this role is to contribute, through training and development work, to the improved knowledge, skill and practice, in end of life care, for the organisation's staff.

Essential criteria for the End of Life Development Practise Lead include:
Minimum 5 years post-registration experience in health or social care
Registered Nurse Level 1 or equivalent/higher
Experience of delivering end of life care
Evidence of education/training in end of life care
Mentorship & teaching qualification (ENB 998 or equivalent)
Knowledge of current end of life /palliative care issues
Knowledge and understanding of the professional roles & the contribution of the multi-professional teams providing end of life care
Ability to think strategically and beyond the immediate term and organisation/ job role.
Ability to develop positive working relationships
Ability to demonstrate initiative, motivation with a dynamic outlook.
Ability to work unsupervised
Possession of a valid, full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, which can be used for work purposes
