Electronic Care Planning Implementation Manager
North London, with job related travel requirements
£38,838 - £41,000 per annum
18 Month Fixed-Term Contract, 36.25 hours per week
TPP’s client is a leading communal faith-based charity and is the largest provider of health and social care services for the Jewish community in the UK, caring for nearly 10,000 people every week. The organisation has received various awards and accolades such as; The Skills for Care Best Employer for over 250 people, The Investors in People Gold standard and the Customer Service Excellent Standard.
Over the next 18 months, the organisation intends to adopt Electronic Care Planning (ECP), which will be rolled out in all its care and community services in London and the south east of England, and the Home Care service where care staff visit clients in their homes and deliver care and support services. This system will help carers plan, record, report and co-ordinate care on the go via mobile devices.
Reporting to the Digital Transformation Manager, you will lead on the successful implementation of the Electronic Care Planning in care homes and home care teams while phasing out paper-based care plans. You work closely with management, staff, residents and clients’ families, as well as the ECP project group and the software vendor to assisting teams to adapt and continuously improve the electronic version. As part of this role, you will line manage the Digital and IT Support Technician.
Being a natural communicator, you will have a Care or nursing accreditation with experience in working in social care or nursing at middle management level. You will a proven track record of implementing and using an electronic care planning system within a care environment. You will have an in-depth knowledge of CQC regulations and care planning in care homes, in particularly older people’s care. You will be flexible to work all shifts including night shifts and weekend work (to the total of contracted hours), and be able to travel to various sites across North London and South East England, as required.
