Online Learning Assistant
A leading healthcare charity dedicated to improving stroke care are looking to recruit an online learning assistant based in Bromsgrove, on an initial one year fixed term contract, paying £19,211 plus excellent benefits package.
This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and dynamic e-learning assistant to join a growing organisation in a brand new position, and be part of a team that makes a real difference.
The role reports to the Online Learning Designer who leads on new learning and development initiatives with a primary focus on the online learning portal, ilearn. To identify, develop, design and implement improvements through ilearn to maximise it's potential to ensure it meets our ongoing business requirements.
Key tasks of role
To work with the Online Learning Designer and Learning and Development Manager to maintain a constant overview of content across the site, ensuring that information and linked resources are relevant and current.
To support the Online Learning Designer with development of new online courses and resources.
To support revisions of published courses to ensure content remains up-to-date.
To offer support in identifying resources to support informal learning through ilearn.
To support the delivery of other Learning and Development projects, as required by the Online Learning Designer or Learning and Development Manager.
To support the Online Learning Designer in facilitating opportunities for social learning, utilising the intranet and other forums as appropriate.
To develop and maintain good working relationships with external providers and agencies, as appropriate.
To encourage and drive opportunities for social learning utilising the intranet and other forums as appropriate.
To be willing to travel during the course of your duties and with possible overnight stays away from home.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
Experience of writing and editing copy in different styles for a variety of audiences
Experience of applying design principles to make information clear and easy to understand
Understanding of how learning management systems work
