This leading Scottish Arts organisation is looking for a part time Donor Development Manager to cover maternity until February 2016. The part time Donor Development Manager will support the charity in achieving its objectives to develop first-time donors into regular donors and will increase the giving level of regular donors and to recruit new donors. You will also be responsible for generating a substantial boost in income in the form of major
gifts and regular giving from individuals, by working in an outward facing, one-to-one way with donors
This is an exciting role and you will need the following:
-Solid professional fundraising experience, with experience in a major gifts fundraising environment is preferred but not mandatory if other appropriate experience can be demonstrated.
-Proven experience of making the ask.
-Knowledge of individual giving fundraising techniques and fundraising best practice across the whole charity sector.
-Good record keeping and excellent computer skills. A detailed knowledge of Raiser's Edge would be advantageous.
-An interest in the arts and an understanding of an arts environment would be an advantage.
-Knowledge of tax laws and data protection legislation.
-Experience of motivating and managing others.
