A leading education membership organisation which looks to ensure that the FE and Training Sector develops world class leaders, teachers and trainers are recruiting for two creative and innovative Directors who come from a teaching or training background and have had senior management experience within the FE or Training sector to oversee the 20programmes the organisation runs which aim to improve learner progression and outcomes.
These roles will be responsible for programmes such as teacher recruitment and initial training; CPD to improve teaching, learning and assessment in English, STEM subjects, SEND and technical training; developing capacity and capability in leadership, management and governance; supporting key changes in the system, such as T-levels or apprenticeships; and support for a number of specialist areas, therefore significant experience and expert knowledge in at least some of the programme areas is essential as the teams and remit will be split according to individual's strengths.
As someone with an executive presence and the energy and enthusiasm to drive and motivate a large team you will ensure that the organisation meets the requirements of a number of stakeholders, including employers as well as the organisation's own long term objectives.
You will also have management experience in key areas such as major projects, budgets and delivery partners, as well as have demonstrable experience working with credibility across the Further Education and Training Sector, including the ability to establish and grow networks across the whole sector and be able demonstrate strong understanding and knowledge of what makes professional development in an education and training environment effective.
