Our client is a leading national Youth charity, currently recruiting a Director of Volunteer Engagement for a 7-month FTC (mat cover).
You will be an exceptional and experienced volunteering leader, with an ability to drive performance and implement new strategies at a very exciting time for charity.
You'll be an integral member of the leadership team, helping role out their new Supporter Impact and Income Directorate, helping embed the new supporter engagement strategy, in its first year.
Heading up their strong Volunteering Team of six staff, to build on our already first class accredited volunteering programme, delivering strategic volunteering action plans for the year and enabling inspiring and impactful volunteering experiences.
You'll also be responsible for championing and driving volunteering and supporter engagement at a senior level across the organisation and externally with partners.
Volunteering is at the heart of our clients new organisational strategy, so this is an opportunity to further develop your skills in an exciting new context, as you will implement a whole new approach to connecting, inspiring and mobilising people and communities to take action to transform the lives of young people.
We are also investing in a sector leading supporter engagement development programme for our staff that you will both help to shape and also benefit from participating in.
