This is a fantastic opportunity to join a incredibly well known not for profit organisation based in Central London as Director of Marketing and Product. Working to the CEO, as and part of a small management team, you will lead all marketing and product development activities. The organisation is undergoing some change currently, having recently moved to a new governance structure - you will be joining at an exciting time.
As this is a small organisation, this is both a strategic and hands on role. You will lead a small team of staff with the following responsibilities:
- marketing, communications and PR: creation, implementation and measurement of success for a comprehensive marketing, communications and PR programme. Active management of brand (the organisation was recently identified as a UK Superbrand)
- product strategy, development and ongoing management: Developing, agreeing and implementing organisational product strategy. Key role in turning customer feedback, market insight and delivery expertise into commercially viable strategies
- planning and budgeting: oversight of a c£1m budget, development of short and long term plans and budgets
- leadership: recruit, train, appraise, supervise, support, promote and guide qualified personnel to achieve a high performance work culture
In order to be considered for this opportunity, you should have previous experience in a commercial leadership role, demonstrating skill and experience of the design and execution of marketing, communications and PR activities. You will have strong creative, strategic, analytical, organisational and personal sales skills, with experience of leading small teams of staff. You will have strong digital literacy, with confidence managing complex IT and infrastructure projects
