The TPP Senior Appointments team are working with an established International Human Rights charity who are looking for a Director of Fundraising and Marketing to provide Maternity cover during an exciting period of change. It is anticipated that this will be a 9 month contract.
In this role you will be a key member of the Senior Management Team, and hold responsibility for leading both the strategic development and growth of fundraising and the effective marketing of the charity and it's achievements to it's growing number of supporters. It is an exciting time to be joining the charity, which is currently in the process of developing it's new organisational strategy, so you will be heavily involved in work to shape the charity's future direction and success. There is a particular focus on broadening the fundraising portfolio, so you will need to combine your talent for thinking strategically with your excellent communication skills to translate opportunities into practical plans of action. You will report to the Chief Executive, and provide leadership to a small but dedicated team of staff.
You will be a senior fundraiser with a demonstrable track record of success leading multi-disciplinary teams (with a particular emphasis on trusts, corporate and major donors). You will understand the principles of maintaining a strong brand and ideally have experience of creating effective communications materials. Experience of the international development or human rights sectors would be advantageous, but are not essential.
