This is an unparalleled opportunity for a creative and driven leader to join a rapidly growing international NGO in delivering significant change in the lives of millions of smallholder farmers and their families in Africa.
Farm Africa reduces poverty permanently by unleashing African farmers' abilities to grow their incomes and manage their natural resources sustainably. Developing and implementing innovative and sustainable agricultural solutions, Farm Africa has an exciting track record of world-class technical expertise and delivery. It is recognised for the quality of its two hundred East African staff who work alongside the rural communities it supports.
Over the last five years Farm Africa has more than doubled its income to an expected £18m in 2015. Growth has come across all income streams and the fundraising and communications teams have expanded considerably to drive forward that growth. With the retirement of the current Director of Fundraising and Communications, Farm Africa is looking for an entrepreneurial and inspiring leader and manager to fill this crucial role.
You will have delivered successful and innovative fundraising and marketing strategies, ideally have personal experience of direct marketing/individual giving, corporate philanthropy and major donors, and have a deep understanding of the role and breadth of communications including new media.
