The TPP Fundraising and Development team are working with a high profile national health charity, based in Central London, who are looking for a Director of Fundraising. Reporting to the CEO, this role will lead the fundraising directorate and will involve considerable liaison with teams across this ambitious, fast-moving and collaborative organisation.
Specifically, you will:
- Hold responsibility for the overall strategic development, direction and delivery of the charity's fundraising portfolio; currently legacies, individual giving, gaming, trusts, major donors, corporates, innovation funders, sporting events and community. Currently, this involves the responsibility for the delivery of c£8m income, and a leadership of a team of c25 staff.
- Build a culture of innovation that values, enhances and builds on proven methods of raising funds, whilst embracing new opportunities presented by new fundraising technologies, and wider digital innovation initiatives
- Develop and maintain high-level relationships with key funders, and other significant partners
- Work as part of the Senior Leadership Team to contribute to, and be jointly responsible for, the development and delivery of the charity's organisational strategy
You will be a strong leader, able to contribute to the overall strategic direction of the charity, and drive the charity's shared vision through your team and colleagues across the organisation. You will have a demonstrable track record of managing a broad portfolio of income generation activities, of having built high performing teams and of working with colleagues to fully integrate their work with fundraising activities.
