Working alongside the Head of Donor Marketing, the post-holder of this Direct Marketing Manager position will be responsible for developing the strategy and budgets for the acquisition and development of direct marketing donors for a small but very ambitious international charity.
You'll be accountable for maximising the value of each supporter by collaborating with different internal teams and stakeholders to put together an integrated direct marketing programme. Using a variety of media and methods, you'll be in charge of planning, delivering and then reporting back on the success of the charity's direct marketing initiatives, using statistical reports and data analysis to feedback on their success. You'll likewise have the responsibility for managing a Senior Direct Marketing Officer so you'll need to be confident line manager, able to maximise the potential of individuals to meet targets and KPIs.
Key responsibilities include:
*Implementing the donor recruitment and retention strategy, using a range of different marketing channels in order to maximise the potential of direct marketing donors and, therefore, net income for the charity
*Working closely with colleagues of all levels of seniority, especially with digital teams, in order to deliver an integrated direct marketing programme
*Plan, manage and evaluate the direct marketing programme and produce statistical reports and reviews of all activity on a timely basis to inform future marketing decisions
*Develop and maintain strong, profitable relationships with external suppliers, agencies and consultants in support of the direct marketing strategy and play a lead role in their appointment
