This lovely and very well-known hospice is looking for an exceptional direct marketer to come on board and work in conjunction with the Director of Fundraising to design and deliver their direct marketing strategy.
The post-holder of this position will have overall responsibility for managing the charity's donor recruitment programme across a range of channels - including cold mailings, telemarketing, door-to-door inserts and new media - in order to increase the size of the charity's supporter base and maximise the potential of all donors.
Crucial to the future development of this organisation, the post-holder will also have the freedom to research, initiate and develop new income streams for the organisation through individual giving with objectives to increase direct marketing's return on investment, maximise the lifetime value of existing donors and explore the possibilities of legacy fundraising.

Key responsibilities include:
*Developing and delivering a direct marketing strategy in conjunction with the Director of Fundraising
*Managing both the Donor Development and Donor Recruitment programmes
*Researching and developing new direct marketing income streams for the charity
*Building relationships with a network of both internal and external stakeholders, including senior figures within the hospice, agencies and suppliers
*Managing Fundraising Co-ordinators and a team of fundraising volunteers
The idea candidate will demonstrate:
*Ability to analyse data, segment and make recommendations on future direct marketing strategy using a donor database
*Experience of both project and budget management
*Extensive experience of writing marketing copy for articles in print and e-marketing
*Ability to thrive in a target and results-driven environment
