TPP's client a leading provider of housing, support and care services is currently recruiting for a Deputy Manager based in London. You will play a principal role in providing day to day operational management and delivery of care and support in services, whilst promoting choice and independence and empowering vulnerable groups.
Our client is a community building organisation focusing on providing support to vulnerable older people with learning disabilities, mental health issues, housing support, outreach, and care and support services. Our client provides effective support and encourages people to live as independently as possible.
The successful postholder will spend half of their working hours providing direct day to day management of services and staff, and the other half working directly with service users delivering care and support services, focusing on carrying out complex assessments and care plan reviews.
Another key aspect of the Deputy Manager post will be to make strong financial intellectual decisions and to ensure services are planned and delivered within the budgeted income and expenditure. You will have working experience of exercising effective control over budgets, quality and performance in care and support services.
The position will suit someone who has extensive knowledge of service user management and understanding the importance of quality person-centred care. You will also be flexible and be able to work on weekends, evenings and bank holidays as required by the service.
