This is a great opportunity for an experienced Marketing and Events professional to move into a broad organisational leadership role. Our client is a 90 year old trade/membership association representing retailers, restaurants, offices and businesses domestically and internationally.
The Deputy Director will manage many of the day-to-day aspects of the organisation and will take on more responsibility as the current Director reduces her days of work. You will be responsible for all elements of marketing (including PR, agency management, promotions); events (including partnership and sponsorship, events and overseas trade shows); stakeholder management; and office management.
You will have broad marketing and events experience at both a strategic and operational delivery level. With a deep understanding of the role and breadth of communications including new media, you will be highly numerate and able to work across all functional areas as befits a small organisation. This is an ambassadorial, relationship development role which will require some international travel and out of hours work.
