Database Cleansing Officer - Temporary Full Time - 4 weeks - Monday 3rd April Start
Our client, a disability and community engagement charity, are looking for an experienced Database Officer to support the Head of Data Insight and Supporter Services. It is ESSENTIAL that you have experience with Raisers Edge. You will be part of the Fundraising Department which has overall responsibility for the development of an integrated and consistent fundraising programme for the charity and raises around 3m a year for the work of the organisation. Based at their Central Office, the role will be to merge duplicate records in Raisers Edge database. Attention to detail and experience using Raisers Edge will be crucial for this role. The remit of the work will be narrow and its aim is to cleanse the database of as many duplicate records as possible.
To work with the Raisers Edge database and examine duplicate records. Decide which is the most appropriate record to retain and which to merge and delete. Comparison of the data on each set of records will be extremely important to ensure no data is lost including retaining valid gift aid declarations information for individuals. Post duplicate merging work will require removing invalid information no longer required in the supporter records.
Role reports to the Head of Data Insight and Supporter Care. You will be working with other fundraising team members including Supporter Services Co-ordinator, Database Officer, Head of Trusts Giving and Head of Church Giving.
You will be able to demonstrate strong administrative skills, a systematic approach to your work and a strong understanding of the importance of data quality. You will ideally demonstrate data experience gained within a charity fundraising team.
This is a full time, temporary role for 4 weeks with a start date of Monday 3rd April. You MUST be available to interview on either the 24th or 27th March. As the role comes with a quick start, only candidates that are immediately available or currently completing a short notice period can be considered for this role.
