A large NFP organisation based in central London are seeking Data Strategy & Governance Manager to join their evolving organisation. You will be responsible for development, management and delivery of a robust data strategy. Within the role you will also be responsible for shaping and implementing their evolving data governance model as part of transformation Programme.
Main duties for the Data Strategy & Governance Manager:
Working closely with internal partners and external data or IT vendors/consultants.
Support and streamline relevant processes for data management activities
Lead strategy and execution tactics and/or projects related to customer data management
Managing the alignment of data strategy across all operations and drive resolution of business challenges and complex data problems
Represent Data Management on cross-functional projects
Help devise an adaptable governance methodology/framework
Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
Participate in various data or systems projects
Ensure timely and accurate completion of routine and ad hoc duties
Take lead, when assigned, on directorate projects
Training and mentoring other team members
Essential Criteria for the Data Strategy & Governance Manager:
Bachelor's Degree (computer science, engineering or other technical disciplines are a plus)
Experience with data and knowledge of key data assets and providers.
Experience in master data management, data governance, acquisition and/or strategy
Experience managing data projects and data vendors
Demonstrated ability to structure and conduct analyses to generate insight and recommendations
Excellent problem solving skills, details oriented with focus on quality and accuracy
Strong verbal and written communication skills
