A Customer Contracts Lead is needed to join a passionate, ambitious and very supportive team of Housing Officers based in Chalk Farm. As a core member of the Housing team you will be expected to use your housing knowledge and experience to offer a person centred approach to delivering advice, support and assistance to clients.
Your role will be to develop and manage systems and staff responsible for writing and issuing tenancies and licences to Housing, Care and Support customers in their own homes, and to ensure that any accompanying correspondence or actions taken in regards to these agreements is appropriate and reflects current case law. Your experience of appearing in court for arrears cases, Anti-Social Behaviour cases and tenancy review cases will be invaluable in this role.
You will have the opportunity to share your expertise with your own specialist team of housing assistants. You will develop and train your team to deliver a high quality service to customers and colleagues and you will be proactive in identifying new ways of working that shows improvement of services.
In this role substantial experience of housing litigation and representing in court on behalf of registered providers or local authorities is essential including experience of handling a wide range of housing cases on issues including homelessness, security of tenure, possession proceedings, mental capacity act, disability discrimination act, disrepair and anti-social behaviour. This role will give you the opportunity to demonstrate outcome-focused management aptitude and the opportunity to use your experience to mentor and develop housing assistants through regular support, supervisions, appraisals and training.
Housing Law, Chartered Institute of Housing or a recognised management course
