Corporate and Community Fundraisers (voluntary)
The women in Samburu Kenya want to build safe and decent homes and neighbourhoods free from fear, poverty and isolation. BCPK wants to help them, but we need your help!
What do we need?
We require Corporate and Community Fundraisers across the UK to help us raise the funds we need to support the build. This is a mammoth project and we need ambitious, target driven and passionate Fundraisers who are prepared to go the extra mile for these amazing women.
Your role will be to introduce the project to businesses, groups, associations and individuals in the UK and secure their support. Your main goal will be to attract donations for the project, but over and above this, we are looking for Fundraisers who can build lasting relationships with donors to keep them informed and engaged throughout the project.
So you will need to be confident, honest, engaging, proactive, client focused and resilient. You will develop a strong and effective network with the other Fundraisers and Partnerships Officers to achieve results for the project. You will also need to be creative, innovative and enthusiastic in organising fundraising events.
Who are you?
We welcome applications from people from all walks of life. We believe that many people in the UK want to take part in transformational projects such as this and desire to leave a positive and lasting legacy in the lives of others. If you are looking to strengthen your skills in sales, fundraising, relationship management, international development or event management, this is a great opportunity for you. We welcome application from people in full/part-time employment or education or who are retired who have a great desire to do something incredible in their spare time.
What do you get in return?
You will have a great deal of independence from day one. There are numerous opportunities for you to initiate and develop your ideas for promoting the organisation and raising more funds. You will also get opportunities to help with project management and delivery if you wish e.g. you could travel to Kenya with the Build, Music, Tourism or Sports teams to meet the Samburu women and support the activities on the ground.
