Contracts Coordinator - Temporary
Our client a large membership/health organisation are seeking an experienced contracts manager for a 5 week period with possible extension to start ASAP.
-To manage, with the Head of Governance, the flow of contract and other legal queries within the College - to involve initial assessment, meeting with colleagues raising queries and, as appropriate, passing them on to outside legal support.
-To prepare documentation for, and run initial stages of, procurement process for new legal services contract.
-To lead on the handling of issues around IP licensing for the growth charts (in conjunction with the Director of Research and Policy).
-With the Head of Governance, to ensure that the College Risk Register is updated.
-To provide other support to the Head of Governance as necessary.
-Experience in managing contracts within a not-for-profit environment. (NB: formal legal qualification is NOT required/expected; however, the candidate is expected to have experience of liaising with lawyers/commissioning outside legal services).
-Some experience of risk management (though not necessarily leading the risk function within an organisation).
-Knowledge of the charity and NHS sector.
-Good judgment, calm under pressure.
