Our client is a legal regulatory body and this team in particular boasts both a progressive ethos (including a working from home policy) and most importantly, a warm, sociable, team-orientated working culture.
The Supervision team has had a really eventful 12 months and due to an increasing workload is now expanding yet again to recruit a fourth Compliance Officer.
TPP have previously placed three within the team of ten, we?re happy to say they are all still in post and clearly passionate about working in such an inclusive and rewarding environment.
As a core team member, you will spend your time conducting risk-based assessments for key external clients and then advising on quality assurance measures, in line with the departments Supervision programme.
We appreciate some of the language could be new to you, but our client is very open minded regarding your professional background and I'm more than happy to talk you through the role in more detail.
You will plan and prepare supervision cases and then set up systems to administer them, this will include desk-based assessment of the supervision results and then you will determine the level of risk and the required follow up action. This will be an ideal role for anyone with a compliance, quality, or legal experience. Although this role is predominately desk based you will have an opportunity to be involved in supervision visits and thematic reviews. As you settle in to the role, you will be involved in data and evidence collection, including pro-actively identifying risks that may require attention.
This is ideal for those of you with an analytical mind, for reviewing evidence and then producing reports on the supervision activity.
Your audience will be both internal and external stakeholders, dealing with written and telephone queries and responding to written correspondence.
If you are coming at this from a compliance angle, the assessing of client applications will appeal, checking the validity of evidence provided, you will also have responsibility for advising on whether to grant authorisation and the bespoke related conditions.
If you would like to play a key part in a team that will invest in your personal development and career aspirations we would like to discuss the role with you in some more detail.
All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
