Do you want to join a fundraising team whose passion and enthusiasm shines through?
We are working with vibrant local charity who care for people in West Lancs, Southport and Formby with serious illness. As the Community Fundraiser, you will play an active part in keeping the doors of this incredible organisation open to the local community.
No two days will be the same, as you will be actively working in the community to develop relationships and build strong community networks. Your energy and enthusiasm will allow you to inspire supporters and volunteers of the charity to take part in a range of fundraising activities. You will be the community’s go to person for advice and guidance and will attend events, shows, fetes and other organised activities. Your passion for the organisation and community fundraising will enable you to raise the profile of the organisation and strengthen the community fundraising income stream.
You will be part of a unique fundraising team who never back away from a challenge, the team might be small but they are mighty and work together to make a real difference. It is an exciting time to join the team as they are about to embark on a new long-term income generation strategy to strengthen the future of the organisation. You will also be given the opportunity to be part of new fundraising activities and campaigns.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and wants to make a real difference in their local area.
