This is a new management role in this national health charity, as the team has recently split out South East and South Central, as the patch was so successful. The Community and Events Fundraising Manager will continue activity on this patch, with a target of £200,000 for next financial year, including work with golf clubs (the charity has a few charity of the year partnerships), rotary clubs and volunteer groups.
The Community and Events Manager will also be responsible for a level of proactive activity in the patch, to increase contacts, set up more volunteer groups, and to engage service users to become supporters.
We are looking for someone with extensive community fundraising experience to run this patch and eventually recruit a lead a team as well. You will be experienced, confident, engaging and focused on developing long-lasting relationships with supporters.
