Have you got communications experience with a knowledge of social media? Have you got a strong writing ability with some experience in web content? Have you got experience in media relations/working in a press office? If this sounds good then this could be the role for you.
This health membership body is looking for a new communications officer to come and join their team. Within this role you can look forward to supporting all functions of communications team, predominantly the media function. You will be providing support with media relations, stakeholder management and internal communications functions by answering the press phone, drafting briefings, conducting research and arranging events. You will also take responsibility on behalf of the communications team for uploading digital content to the website and Intranet, as well as supporting the team with content development and managing the social media accounts. You will also be responsible for the production of the monthly bulletin and as well as event management, dealing with all logistical issues.
This role does require out of hours work on a rota basis.
