Are you passionate about working with a charity that supports one of the biggest problems we have in London?

TPP are currently working with a charity based in central London that has been established for over 35 years and supports homeless people and those that are at risk of becoming homeless. This is your opportunity as a skilled Web and Publications Communications Officer to support the work of this charity and to understand the psychological and emotional challenges faced by these individuals who are vulnerable or socially excluded.

You will be helping to support this cause by working on internal and external communications tools to raise the profile of this charity and leading digital communications to make the most impact. You will have worked in a communicatons role previously and have the ability, confidence and proven skills to write engaging copy, for on and offline publications, maintain the website and intranet, work with senior team members to develop a social media strategy and  work with external designers and printers to ensure all communications adhere to brand guidelines. You will be supporting wider teams to set up templates and ways of working that supports the communications strategy. As Communications Officer you will also support the communications needs of the fundraising function of the charity.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent Copy writing skills – preferably in an in-house PR/Comms role

  • Strong SEO, CMS and Google Analytics knowledge

  • Good Social media management experience

  • Excellent ability in using InDesign and Photoshop

  • Strong interpersonal skills – working with designers, agencies and web developers

  • Ability to work well in a results driven and deadline focused manner

  • Problem solving skills – able to take a step back and identify solutions

  • Enthusiastic, adaptable and flexible

  • Good teamwork skills – support individuals and shares knowledge with colleagues

  • Confidence in dealing with senior management and individuals outside the organisations

  • Able to present information to others and wider teams in a logical and engaging manner
