Do you have excellent communication skills? Have you got a strong writing ability? Have you got experience in liaising with journalists and media contacts at local, regional and national level? Do you know how to use digital platforms to effectively communicate? Do you have a background/strong interest in social care, health or youth issues? If this sounds good, then this could be the role for you.
This Community Engagement charity are looking for a new Communications Manager to come and join their team on a permanent basis. Within this role you can look forward to developing and implementing a proactive communications strategy both on a national and regional level. You will be overseeing and handling all the press and media relations of the charity on a day to day basis, as well as establishing and maintaining contacts in relevant media channels and converting these into positive coverage. Alongside the communications assistant, you will be maximising the effectiveness of the charities digital media channels to boost engagement. Within this role you will also be required to use your strong writing ability to produce content for a variety of sources.
