Do you have communications experience? Are you an excellent communicator, both verbally and written? Have you got experience with CMS systems and Social media management? If this sounds good, then this could be the role for you.
This medical membership body are looking for a new communications and media officer to come and join their team. Within this role you can look forward to delivering a wide range of communications activities that include planing, writing, editing, coordinating and publishing content on a variety of channels, such as the website, publications, social media and print. You will be planning and implementing the communications and marketing campaigns, advising and supporting colleagues in the production of communications and content, as well as carrying out surveys an other research to inform future communication activity.
You can also look forward to developing and maintain key relationships within the media, all the while identifying and maximising opportunities for positive media coverage. You will also be responsible for the press phone, as well as the creation of press releases and statements when needed. You will also be responsible for the maintenance of the organisations website and social media channels, ensuring that content is timely, relevant and up to date.
