TPP’s client, one of the nation’s leading children’s charities is recruiting to a brand new role of Children Services Development Manager based in Ilford.
Established over 100 years ago, our client focused on transforming the lives of children and young people. They provide a range of holistic services and campaign for the right of children across the country.
The Children Services Development Manager job focuses on business development and service implementation across a specific London locality within the charity (North Locality). As a brand new role, you will be responsible for providing a range of interventions that promote the emotional wellbeing (EHWB strategic priority) of the most vulnerable young people. In order to achieve this, you will be tasked with making links with local schools in order to identify need and pilot appropriate evidence based interventions; some of these may be counselling, art based therapies, intensive targeted out-reach support for families and parenting programmes. Using a specialist designed model you will develop these services by identifying appropriately trained staff who would like to become a part of a pool of relevant professionals to deliver the interventions.
This role offers an exciting new way of thinking about how family support services are being delivered within a clear practice pathway.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will need to be confident in developing new services; linking with external partners and working with a range of staff. You will have a depth and breadth of management experience across a range of children and young people services. You will also need to hold a minimum of NVQ level 5 or equivalent too depending on your professional background.
