fuelbanks and families is a registered charity established in May 2015 . We work with families in crisis who are referred to us via the Wandsworth Foodbank and are experiencing low income, debt, benefit delays, sickness, are unemployed or are facing another crisis. Our role involves repaying debt and adding credit to prepaid meters, so helping families to fuel their homes and cook food for their families.
We also provide dedicated debt management support and advice through our partnership with the local Citizens Advice Bureau. In addition discretionary grants are available for children's educational needs or to support parent's training to improve their opportunities and income levels.
