TPP?s client, a leading provider of care in the home throughout the UK is looking for a Care Manager to cover an area in North East London.
Our client?s organisation has firmly established itself in the UK care sector, with a commitment to the highest quality customer service this group has made itself an industry leader by providing exactly that. Their North London office is only two years old but has already broken through its targets for growth and is looking for ambitious workers to take the business forward. Directly accountable to a board of directors, the job of Care Manager will involve overseeing both care coordinators and supervisors to maintain and expand services across North East London. Our clients? primary interests are in home-based care and this role will include a variety of different jobs; ranging from organising Care Worker Induction Training to undertaking the monitoring and assessment of new customers. Responsibility for safe and legal delivery of services will be within the remit of this role as will the organisation of staff meetings to disseminate and implement company policy. Our client also sees expansion as an integral part of their business model and will expect any Care Manager to have a vision for the future; underlying this, the successful candidate will have the ability to sell both the values and brand that our client has developed. Throughout these duties the Care Manager will be required to produce regular reports of their progress and as such must have good presentation skills.
The last CQC report for this organisation reported no areas for improvement and as such the successful candidate for this role will be expected to work to a consistently high standard of care quality. A minimum of two years? experience in domiciliary care management is a must as is an NVQ level 5 in Social Care or equivalent. Demonstrable experience in business development is also required as is knowledge of recruiting. Due to the dynamic nature of our client and this role, the successful applicant will have an excellent knowledge of regulatory responsibilities, excellent management skills and motivation to work in thriving business.
