Care Home Manager
TPP's client a leading provider of housing, support and care services is currently recruiting for a Care Home Manager based within a Registered Care Home in London. You will play a principal role in managing the safe, effective delivery of quality care and support services to vulnerable older people with Dementia.
As a Care Home Manager, you will take full responsibility of promoting a caring environment for service users through high standards of professional practice which is conducive to the physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and holistic needs of the service users.
The successful postholder will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of care and support service through quality auditing and monthly checks, as well as carrying out appraisals and supervision, whilst ensuring that the health and welfare of the older people is adhered to at all times.
Having already been familiar with the CQC processes and provisions, another key aspect of the Care Home Manager post will be to manage relationships and be able to build positive working relationships and effective partnership working with members of the Association and with other key stakeholders.
The position will suit someone who is has extensive knowledge and understanding of supporting, and managing older people with Dementia or Mental Health Issues. You will have working experience of understanding their specialist needs and the challenging behaviours associated with the condition.
* Registered Manager Award or relevant NVQ Health and Social Care Management Level 4 or equivalent
* Computer literate - able to utilise and manage complex ICT systems
