Care & Support Area Manager, £36000 - £42000 

Location: Comberton, Cambridgeshire

Job Type: Permanent

TPP is currently recruiting for a Care & Support Area Manager on behalf of one of its clients, a leading housing association. This role is permanent and will be based in Comberton, Cambridge.

As a Care and Support Area Manager you will be working across various schemes covering Cambridgeshire and Essex. You will be working across all disciplines including mental health, learning disabilities and the elderly.
You will be supporting service managers in delivering services which improve independence for customers. You will be managing 12 managers who oversee about 16 services generating a combined income of just over ?6M.

Working closely with commissioners and local contract managers you will be accountable for delivery of outcomes and financial performance, plus the leadership and development of your team. You will assist with operational management of purchasing accountabilities, delivery of budgeted surplus and forward budgeting within the schemes, risk and quality and safeguarding for registered services. A number of the services are CQC registered and you will be accountable for delivery of safe, caring, responsive, efficient and well led services in line with CQC standards.

To be successful in this role you need to have the ability to manage the budgets and financial aspects of the service delivery in a challenging funding environment.

The majority of this role will be spent out at services so you will need to have a full valid driving licence and have access to your own transport.

Your typical working pattern will be Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week. Please note that you may be required to be on call over the weekend a couple of times a year.
