This academic health organisation is searching for an ambitious and creative fundraiser to join them to help drive income for their new capital appeal. This is an exciting opportunity to work with high value trusts and individuals to solicit significant gifts towards the appeal.

You will be supported by the Director of Development but will be able to work autonomously, developing key relationships from new and established donors. You will work with internal stakeholders across the organisation leveraging their networks to deliver new relationships. You will be able to feed into the strategy and develop new ideas for the direction of fundraising.

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

- Experience of successfully soliciting funds from high network individuals and/or trusts  

- A highly developed knowledge of major donor fundraising techniques

- Ideally some experience and understanding of the mechanics of major fundraising appeals

- Strong communication skills, oral and excellent written skills
