A medical health charity is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their organisation to develop, manage and deliver commercial sales.
The successful candidate will be a team player with organisational skills and a customer-focussed approach. They will also have a working knowledge of course development and methods of delivery alongside the principles of continuing professional development.
The duties of the Business Development Manager will include:
-Developing and managing the sales and marketing skin.
-Developing the strategic direction of sales and marketing functions.
-Conducting regular market research to recommend changes and new activity.
-Implementing standardised marketing/sales campaigns to deliver strategic objectives.
-Developing new business income streams on the basis of evaluation and analysis.
-Setting and managing budget and forecasting all activity, providing reports.
-Managing the team to reach and exceed set targets.
To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have the following experience:
-Sales management and marketing campaigns.
-Managing complex budgets and working in a high pressured environment.
-Preparing business cases and project plans.
-Negotiating to advantage with contractors/third parties.
-Preferably have worked within an education or health related environment.
-Preferably be educated to a degree level or relevant experience.
