A leading International School with 3 sites and headquartered in Cobham, Surrey is seeking a Programme Manager for a Student Financial Assistance project for a 9 month contract. The role will involve developing, launching and leading the programme.
-To establish a financial assistance (bursary and scholarship) programme for the three schools.
-Establish a well-defined model of bursaries and scholarships with multiple entry years, award types and levels of financial assistance to achieve the targeted financial commitment from the school to demonstrate public benefit.
-To develop the ramp up plan Aug 2018 - 2022 to operate effectively at maturity, including policies and procedures and financial commitment.
-Develop the detailed types of financially assisted places and the associated levels of financial support awards.
-Agree and develop the student assessment criteria working with central education, HOS and admissions.
-Agree and develop the student family financial assessment criteria, including third party validation process, working with finance department.
-Ensure a high quality launch ready programme. Support the launch to ensure a smooth transition including training of existing and new staff to deliver a high quality operational programme.
-Lead and motivate a cross functional team including central education, Finance, Admissions, Marketing and IT, so that the team delivers to time and quality.
-Degree and financial qualification desirable
-Delivery focus. Experience of developing and delivering to time and quality.
-Experienced Bursar or Business / Finance Manager in 3-18 year olds or secondary school, with direct experience of establishing, developing or running sizeable financial assistance programmes.
-Commercial, highly numerate with ability to model and forecast.
-Experience of student assessment and admissions policies, processes and procedures and high levels of customer service.
-Understanding/experience of educational programmes.
